According to China Mobile, its 5G Joint Innovation Center partners have increased to 42, including 5 instrumentation manufacturers, providing collaborative innovation for 5G test instrumentation. China Mobile announced the launch of the 5G Joint Innovation Center in February this year. In addition to 42 partners, the central laboratory, regional laboratories, and partner joint laboratories under the China Mobile 5G Joint Innovation Center have all started construction and related work. In order to make 5G commercially capable in 2020, relying on China Mobile's 5G Joint Innovation Center, China Mobile and its partners have made progress in the research and test verification of key 5G technologies. On August 16, China Mobile and Ericsson jointly completed the world's first operator's network-controlled 5G prototype system drone test, testing the possibility of potential mission-critical applications in the 5G technology scenario.
