Analysis of the principle and use of UV ultraviolet aging box

The basic principle of UV aging test box: The damage to materials caused by sunlight and moisture in the nature of UV aging test box causes inestimable economic losses every year. The damage caused mainly includes fading, yellowing, discoloration, strength reduction, embrittlement, oxidation, brightness reduction, cracking, blurring and chalking. Products and materials that are exposed to direct or behind-the-glass sunlight are at greatest risk of photodamage. Materials exposed to fluorescent, halogen, or other light-emitting lamps for extended periods of time are also affected by photodegradation. Application of UV aging box: The UV aging test box uses a xenon arc lamp that can simulate the full sunlight spectrum to reproduce the destructive light waves existing in different environments, which can provide corresponding environmental simulation and accelerated test data for scientific research, product development and quality control. The aging test is carried out by exposing the material sample to the light and thermal radiation of the xenon arc lamp to evaluate the light resistance and weather resistance of some materials under the action of a high temperature light source. It is mainly used for paints, coatings, rubber, plastics, pigments, adhesives agents, fabrics, etc. UV ultraviolet aging box structure: 1. Inner box material: SUS imported high-grade stainless steel plate. 2. Outer box material: The surface of the cold-rolled plate produced by Baosteel is phosphating paint. 3. The filter is made of low iron content tempered glass 5mm. 4. The reflective light adopts high-purity alumina plate. UV aging box control system UV aging test box adopts Korean TEMI brand temperature control instrument, and adopts microcomputer PID temperature controller for temperature control. Irradiance uniformity:±15% (at the sample surface) uses a standard Pt-100 temperature sensor to precisely control the sample surface temperature during the test; the light source uses a visible light xenon lamp with a rated power of 2500W. The lamp tube is installed on the top layer of the instrument, and the spectral energy of the light emission is mainly concentrated at the wavelength between 300 and 780 nm; according to the test spectral irradiance, the irradiance does not exceed 1 to 3 of the corresponding sun (average sunlight at 5:00 noon at the equator in summer). Because the energy output of fluorescent light will gradually decay with time, in order to reduce the influence of the test caused by the decay of light energy, and the effect of GB/T19394-2003 No.5-a on the irradiance uniformity±15% of the requirements, this test chamber is designed to adjust the height of the sample test piece. UV ultraviolet aging chamber parameters: meet the standards: ASTM D4329, ASTM D4587, ASTM D4799, ASTM D5208, ASTM G151, ASTM G154, EN 927-6, EN 1297, EN 1898 FIBC, EN 12224, EN 13523-10, ISO 4892-1, ISO 4892-3, ISO 11507, ISO 11895, ISO 11997-2, SAE J2020, prEN 1062-4. Product advantages: The innovative design, compared with other UV fluorescent aging test chambers, achieves higher standards in terms of performance characteristics, ease of use, accuracy and safety, and its verification performance meets or even exceeds other brands.
