Analysis of thermal resistance and moisture resistance test of textile thermal resistance and moisture resistance tester

Textile thermal and moisture resistance tester is used to measure the thermal and moisture resistance of various textile products and textile fabrics, films, coatings, foams, leather and composite materials made of these products under steady state conditions. Applicable standards: GB/T11048, ISO11092, ASTMF1868, ASTMD1518, JISL1096 Thermal resistance test: (1) The test sequence is: cold machine preheating——Thermal resistance parameter setting——Thermal resistance empty board test——Thermal resistance test (2) Preheating of cold machine: After turning on the power, the whole machine needs to be preheated for 45 minutes, add a piece of fabric of medium thickness to the test plate, and take out the fabric when the test plate reaches 35 degrees Celsius. Then observe the temperature of the heating plate and the bottom plate to about 35.2, complete the preheating of the cold machine, and then put the test sample (or standard sample) into the test bench. (3) Thermal resistance parameter setting: set according to standard requirements. (4) Thermal resistance empty plate test: measure the thermal resistance under the temperature gradient without placing the test sample. The empty board test does not have to be done every time. Since the repetition error of the empty board test is quite small, it is recommended to test once every 3-6 months. (5) Thermal resistance test: put the sample to be tested on the surface of the test board, adjust the lift button at the front end of the test bench inside the test chamber, and cover the four sides of the metal pressing edge. When the metal pressing edge is in the horizontal position, then put down the plexiglass cover , close the instrument door, press the start button, the instrument will run automatically. When stable, press the stop button, the instrument will keep displaying the thermal resistance value as the test result. (6) Replace the sample and repeat the previous steps for the test. Finally, take the mean value for evaluation. The result retains 3 significant digits. Moisture resistance test: (1) The test sequence is: cold machine preheating——Wet resistance parameter setting——Humidification and hydration and test film placement——Moisture resistance empty board test——Moisture resistance test (2) Preheating of the cold machine: After turning on the power, the whole machine needs to be preheated for about 60 minutes, and a piece of medium-thickness fabric is added to the test plate. After the test plate reaches 35 degrees Celsius, the fabric is taken out. Then observe the temperature of the heating plate and the bottom plate to about 35.2, complete the preheating of the cold machine, and then put the test sample (or standard sample) into the test bench. (3) Except for humidifying water and film placement, the test of moisture resistance is similar to that of thermal resistance, which will not be repeated here. Humidification and water supply: Press the humidity resistance button on the control panel, loosen the waterproof joint of the adjusting rod a little, and the water inside the water supply tank will automatically flow into the test box. Observe the water level indicator on the right side of the test bench and the surface of the porous plate of the test body, and touch the surface of the porous plate with your hand. , When water comes out, stop the water level adjustment rod and pull up, and tighten the waterproof joint. (4) Take two films, the elastic side is for testing, flatten it on the surface of the perforated plate, and appropriately add distilled water to moisten the two films. Use the cotton pad in the attachment to smooth the membrane and remove the air bubbles between the membrane and the multi-well plate.
