Application
The Hexapod Tumble Drum Tester is designed to assess the effects of hexapod mechanical action on floor coverings, specifically evaluating changes in surface structure and color.
Principle
A carpet sample is affixed to the inner wall of the drum, and a hexapod test block is placed inside. As the drum rotates, the hexapod test block tumbles across the sample's surface. After a specified number of rotations, the surface structure and color changes of the floor coverings are evaluated.
