The GT-KB48 computerized slip resistance tester is built to solve all these pain points. It strictly follows international standard test procedures, outputs authoritative and reproducible kinetic friction coefficient results, and helps footwear manufacturers, testing laboratories and quality inspection agencies efficiently complete slip resistance certification and daily quality control.
Test Principle
The Slip Resistance tester fixes the footwear specimen on the test stand, uses glycerin as the lubricant, and applies a standardized normal load. The test bench moves horizontally under lateral traction force to measure the dynamic friction force in real time and automatically calculate the kinetic friction coefficient.
This method fully reproduces the real slipping process of footwear on wet and smooth ground, so the test results can be directly used for official product certification and quality system filing.
