After the abnormal water quality incident of the third water plant, everyone paid more attention to the urban drinking water sources, so what is the current situation of drinking water sources in Xinyu City? According to reports, the Xinyu City Environmental Monitoring Station routinely monitors the water quality of the centralized drinking water sources of the two water plants in Xinyu City (Kongmu River Fourth Water Plant and Fairy Lake Three Water Plant) every month, and conducts 109 full analyses once a year. . The monitoring data in 2015 showed that the annual average value of each project in the two centralized drinking water sources in Xinyu City did not exceed the standard, and the water quality qualification rate of the two water sources was 100%. Beginning in January 2016, the monthly centralized monitoring data of drinking water sources will be released on the website of Xinyu Environmental Protection Bureau in a timely manner. From January to March 2016, the water quality met the requirements of Class III surface water; in April, because the water quality of Fairy Lake was polluted upstream, the water quality of the water source of Sanshui Plant exceeded the standard of cadmium. Judging from the monitoring data in May and June, the water quality of the centralized drinking water sources of the third and fourth water plants are all up to the standard, and citizens and friends can rest assured. At present, there are 3 automatic water quality monitoring stations in Xinyu City (the third water quality automatic station, the fourth water quality automatic station and the Jiaoyuan automatic water quality station), and there are 12 monitoring items. In order to do a good job of water quality safety early warning, the Xinyu Municipal Government has increased its investment in the construction of environmental monitoring capabilities, transformed and upgraded the existing water quality automatic monitoring stations, and added water quality comprehensive toxicity online analyzers, water quality heavy metal online analyzers and water quality arsenic online analyzers respectively. 3 kinds of online water quality monitoring equipment such as analyzers to ensure the water quality of our drinking water sources. In order to prevent and control water pollution, the first is to carry out pollution control of industrial enterprises, conduct a comprehensive inventory of enterprises in the Yuanhe and Kongmu River basins, and strictly control industrial wastewater pollution. The second is to promote the division of 4 rural water source protection areas with a daily water supply of more than 1,000 tons, and complete the withdrawal of small (II) and above reservoirs involving drinking water sources from contract farming, and implement human-free breeding. Third, starting from this year, the newly expanded and reconstructed large-scale livestock and poultry farms will implement rainwater and sewage diversion and resource utilization of manure and sewage, strengthen the environmental protection approval and environmental management of new, reconstruction and expansion projects of large-scale livestock and poultry farms, and increase law enforcement efforts.
