Research and development analysis of non-woven environmental protection bag testing1

With the enhancement of people's awareness of environmental protection, the“White pollution”It has attracted the attention of various countries, and countries around the world have formulated regulations for shopping plastic bags to restrict or prohibit their use. Various relevant mandatory policies and regulations in my country have been promulgated one after another. From June 1, 2008, the provision of free plastic shopping bags in major supermarkets across the country has been suspended [1]. How to carry out the development of alternative products that are beneficial to environmental protection and generally accepted by low-income groups has become a research hotspot to solve the problem of plastic bags. Among several substitutes, non-woven eco-friendly shopping bags are considered to be the best substitutes for plastic bags because of their short technological process, high output, fast variety changes, wide source of raw materials, long service life, and degradability. . This article mainly discusses the bursting strength and wear resistance of non-woven environmental protection shopping bags, in order to advocate people to use environmental protection bags, protect the earth and protect human beings. 1. Introduction of non-woven fabrics 1. The concept of non-woven fabrics The production of non-woven fabrics breaks through the principle of conventional textile processing. It is a textile material that does not require spinning and weaving. The filaments are oriented or randomly arranged to form a web structure, which can then be formed by mechanical, thermal bonding or chemical reinforcement. 2. The main properties of non-woven fabrics Non-woven fabrics are made of filaments stacked on each other into a mesh, with high porosity, good light transmission, strong moisture permeability, high air permeability, non-toxic and non-irritating characteristics [ 2]; In addition, it can be recycled for multiple times, degradable or recycled, and has the advantages of light texture, softness, elasticity, corrosion resistance, and washability. Non-woven fabrics have fast production speed, short process flow, low cost, high output, wide raw material sources and uses, and rich colors. 3. Production process of non-woven fabrics According to different processing technologies, non-woven fabrics can be divided into production processes: needle punched non-woven fabrics, spunlace non-woven fabrics, wet-laid non-woven fabrics, stitched non-woven fabrics, and heat-bonded non-woven fabrics. Fabric, meltblown nonwoven, spunbond nonwoven, pulp airlaid nonwoven, etc. Among them, non-woven environmental protection bags are mostly heat-sealed non-woven fabrics. Second, the characteristics of non-woven shopping bags Plastic bags commonly used in daily life are non-degradable, or the degradation time is decades or even hundreds of years. Due to the non-degradable properties of ordinary plastic bags, soil and groundwater are polluted. In addition, a complete plastic bag can only be used for garbage or directly thrown away after carrying the items from the supermarket to the residence, and there is still a serious waste problem. The eco-friendly shopping bags are safe and hygienic during use, and can be recycled many times; the shopping bags after use can be degraded, or can be recycled and reused [3]. 3. Performance test of non-woven shopping bags 1. Some samples of non-woven bags and polyester fiber, polypropylene fiber and polyethylene plastic bags are tested. 2. The testing instrument adopts YG(B)026 electronic fabric strength machine, according to FZ/T 60005—1991 Test fabric bursting strength; YG (B) 522 disc type fabric wear-resisting machine, according to FZ/T 60019—1994 Tests the abrasion resistance of fabrics. 3. Test principle and steps ①. Bursting strength test method: Cut 4 non-woven bag samples with R=5 cm, marked as 1#, 2#, 3#, 4#, the same, and the same as the other 4 ordinary polyethylene plastic bags of the same size, marked as 5#, 6#, 7#, 8#, which were uniformly humidified under laboratory conditions for 3 hours; 8 samples were placed in the cloth ring and tightened , and then lay it flat on the cloth chuck frame; press the start button, after the sample is completely topped, the instrument restores the original state to retrieve the sample backup and record the data. Complete 8 samples one by one in this way. ②. Test method of abrasion resistance: Cut 4 samples of non-woven bag with R=5cm, marked as 1#, 2#, 3#, 4#, and similarly, take the same size of ordinary polyethylene plastic Bags of 4 pieces, marked as 5#, 6#, 7#, 8#, were uniformly humidified under laboratory conditions for 3 hours, and 8 samples were put into the cloth ring and tightened, and placed on the On the disc type fabric wear-resisting machine; press the start button and observe the degree of wear of the sample. When the sample is broken, press the stop button and record the data. 4. Results and discussion 1. Bursting strength Bursting strength test results are shown in Table 1. The average breaking strength of non-woven bags is higher than 170.0N, while the maximum breaking strength of ordinary plastic bags is less than 2.0N. This strength reflects the relationship between their strength and bearing capacity. From the above data, it can be seen that the bearing capacity of a non-woven eco-friendly bag is equivalent to more than 100 ordinary plastic bags. 2. Wear resistance The wear resistance of non-woven environmental protection bags is very good, with an average of about 169 times, while that of ordinary polyethylene plastic bags is about 4 times, and the difference is forty times. In terms of wear resistance, a non-woven eco-friendly bag is equivalent to dozens of ordinary polyethylene plastic bags. Therefore, non-woven environmental protection bags will definitely replace ordinary polyethylene plastic bags and become an indispensable convenience bag in people's daily life. V. Application Prospects With the rapid development of my country's economy and the continuous improvement of people's quality of life, people's awareness of environmental protection is increasing day by day. The requirements of environmental protection and saving can be achieved by using non-woven environmental protection bags produced from natural fibers or degradable fibers. If polyamide fibers are added to the production of nonwovens, they can have better load-bearing capacity and durability [4]. In addition, the non-woven bags that have been processed by water and oil repellent, antibacterial and easy decontamination are not easy to be stained by water and oil, and also have antibacterial properties, and it is more convenient to clean when necessary. After being folded and folded, the shopping bag is small in size, convenient to carry and store, and meets the requirements of repeated use. With the maturity of non-woven processing technology and the reduction of processing costs, non-woven environmental protection bags will have good application prospects.
