Research on Antistatic Performance Test of Wool Fabric

Commonly used textile materials are poor conductors of electricity. In the process of production, processing and clothing wearing, the transfer and accumulation of electric charges on the surface of the fabric due to contact and friction, resulting in static electricity, causing inconvenience in production and processing, and affecting the beauty and comfort of wearing . Worsted woolen fabrics, as high-end textile fabrics, have serious electrostatic phenomena. Therefore, improving the antistatic properties of woolen fabrics has always been one of the important issues faced by wool worsted spinning enterprises. At present, the commonly used methods in production practice are mainly to add antistatic fibers or conductive fibers, or use antistatic finishing agents for antistatic finishing of textiles. The former method is monotonous in color and is suitable for fabric processing such as work clothes. The latter method is widely used to solve the static electricity problem of various wool fabrics. The basic principles and methods of fabric antistatic finishing include: reducing the generation of static electricity; accelerating the leakage of static electricity; creating conditions that enable static electricity to be neutralized. The mechanism of action of antistatic agents is generally considered to be that antistatic agents can form a conductive continuous film, imparting certain hygroscopicity and ionicity to the fiber surface, and achieve the purpose of antistatic. Antistatic agents are divided into two categories: temporary and durable. Durable antistatic agents can maintain a good antistatic effect after washing more than 20 times. This article uses different antistatic agents to finish wool fabrics, compares the effects of antistatic finishing, screens out antistatic agents suitable for wool fabrics, and studies the influence of environmental humidity and process conditions on the effect of antistatic finishing, hoping to be an antistatic fine Provide a reference for the development and production of spinning products. 1. Experimental part 1. Experimental materials and equipmentExperimental materials: worsted fabric (provided by Shandong Ruyi Group, 21 right twill weave, 260 g m2); antistatic agent Ciba Outfit Ciba), FK-312 for wool 7 kinds of antistatic agent, anionic antistatic agent 1214PK (Chinese Academy of Textile Sciences), amphoteric antistatic agent betaine, cationic antistatic agent 1227 (Tianjin University of Technology), antistatic agent 1, antistatic agent 2 (Shandong Ruyi Group) Different types of antistatic finishing agents are all commercial preparations. Experimental equipment: NM-450 pressure test liquid rolling machine (Japan); DK-5E needle plate tenter baking machine (Japan); wet and dry balancer; S-5109 electrostatic half-life tester (Japan). 2. Experimental method ①. Finishing method In the experiment, the fabric adopts two soaking and two rolling ※100 ℃ drying ※Baking finishing process, among which the baking temperature is determined according to the optimum baking temperature of the finishing agent used, and the finishing process conditions of different fabrics. ② The soaping method is to measure the fastness of antistatic finishing, and the washing resistance test of the finished fabric is carried out according to JISL0217-103 'Japanese Washing Standard'. Use neutral detergent, wash and dry under the standard water flow of a household two-tank washing machine, repeat 20 times (to prevent the fabric from deforming, put it in a self-sewn polyester cloth bag for washing). Among them, the sample numbers of samples 1 to 8 after soaping are recorded as 1'to 8'respectively. ③ The test method is based on the standard FZ T 01042-1996 'Determination of the electrostatic half-life of the electrostatic properties of textile materials' to determine the electrostatic half-life of the finished fabric. The shorter the half-life, the better the antistatic effect. After finishing, the fabrics were placed in a dry-wet balancer and balanced for 48 hours under the conditions of 20 ℃ and 30% relative humidity; the electrostatic half-life method was used to test the antistatic effect of the fabrics after finishing with different finishing agents. 2. Experimental results and analysis 1. Comparison of finishing effects of different antistatic agents describes the static half-life of fabrics after finishing with different antistatic agents. It can be seen from the figure that the static half-life of samples 2, 3, and 5 after finishing is small, the charge leakage rate is faster, and it is not easy to cause charge accumulation, and has a good antistatic effect. Among them, sample 5 is soaped The static half-life is obviously increased, and the antistatic effect is obviously weakened. The Ciba Outfit finishing agent used in sample No. 2 is a non-ionic antistatic agent, which is a compound emulsion of hydrophilic polymer and polysiloxane. After finishing, the hydrophilic polymer component can be used in wool. The surface of the fiber forms a hydrophilic film, and the polysiloxane component forms a network cross-linked polymer. The two complement each other, which can produce good antistatic effects and ensure a certain degree of durability.
