What are the items and standards for carton packaging testing

Dongguan Jest Instruments specializes in the production and sales of various testing instruments, including luggage testers, stroller testers, furniture testers, etc. Next, let me talk about the items and standards of carton packaging testing. 1, appearance inspection The appearance inspection of paper is one of the important inspection items, which is generally composed of two parts: on-site sampling inspection and laboratory inspection by inspectors. The appearance defect of the paper not only affects the appearance of the paper, but also affects the use of the paper. The inspection method standards we use are: ISO, TAPPI standards, as well as SN/T0874-2000 and the national standard GB/T1541 dust detection. Mainly use front-light inspection, head-up inspection, strabismus inspection and hand-touch inspection. The paper is required to be flat and clean, and no folds are allowed. 2. Physical performance inspection Before carrying out physical performance inspection work, the paper must be pretreated with constant temperature and humidity according to the standard. Because different paper quality needs to be tested differently, here are several main ones: (1 ) Good whiteboard paper generally requires tight texture, smooth surface, consistent thickness, lint-free paper surface, good absorbency, low expansion rate, and can meet the requirements of multi-color overprinting. In order to meet the requirements of box making, the white paper should also have the characteristics of large stiffness and good folding resistance. The main importing countries are: South Korea, Indonesia, the United States, Japan, etc. The quality of whiteboard paper made in Japan is especially good. The test items include: quantification, thickness, whiteness, smoothness, fracture length, burst resistance, folding resistance, sizing degree, stiffness and IGT, etc. (2) Kraft cardboard: Kraft cardboard, called cardboard paper in our country, is one of the main paper types for carton paper. Domestic cardboard paper is divided into three grades: high-quality, first-class, and qualified products. The texture of kraft paper must be tough, with high bursting resistance, ring compressive strength and tearing, and also high water resistance. Due to the difference in technology and materials, in general, the quality of most imported kraft paperboard is better than domestic kraft paper, especially the quality of American-made kraft paper is the best. The test items are: quantitative, thickness, tightness, bursting resistance, bursting index, ring compression strength, transverse ring compression index, fracture length, tearing degree, sizing degree, moisture, quantitative difference of width, transverse folding resistance and many more. (3) The test items of coated kraft cardboard and noodle kraft paper refer to kraft cardboard and white board paper. (4) Corrugated base paper: Corrugated base paper is one of the important components for the production of corrugated board. Corrugated base paper requires good fiber bonding strength, smooth paper surface, good tightness and stiffness, and a certain degree of elasticity to ensure that the made carton has the ability to withstand shock and pressure. In addition, the moisture index should be controlled. If the moisture is too small, the paper will be brittle, and cracks will occur during corrugated processing; if the moisture is too large, the paper will be soft, which will bring difficulties to processing and molding. Generally, the moisture content of paper should be controlled at about 10%. Domestic corrugated base paper is divided into four grades: A, B, C, and D. carton packaging testing items include quantitative, thickness, tightness, burst resistance, ring compression strength, transverse ring compression index, flat compression strength, crack length, sizing degree, moisture, etc. Testing equipment: luggage tester, paper tester, etc. The methods and standards used for detection mainly include: GB, SN, ISO, TAPPI, SCAN, JIS, etc. Here, Jester Instruments simply exemplifies the inspection standards of our country: 1.GB/T451.2-2002 'Determination of the quantification of paper and paperboard' 2.GB/T451.3-2002 'The thickness of paper and paperboard Determination' 3.GB/T453-2002 'Determination of Tensile Strength of Paper and Board (Constant Rate Loading Method)' 4.GB/T454-2002 'Determination of Paper Bursting Strength' 5.GB/T455-2002 'Paper Determination of the degree of tearing of paper and paperboard' 6.GB/T456-2002 'Determination of smoothness of paper and paperboard (Buick method)' '7.GB/T457-2002 'Determination of paper folding endurance (Schober method)' 8 .GB/T458-2002 'Determination of air permeability of paper and cardboard (Shobel method)' 9. GB/T459-2002 'Determination of stretchability of paper and cardboard' 10. GB/T462-2003 'Determination of moisture content of paper and cardboard Determination' 11.GB/T13024-2003 'Box Board' 12.GB/T13023-1991 'Corrugated Base Paper' 13.SN/T0874-2000 'Import and Export Paper and Board Inspection Regulations' The above mentioned are some of the more conventional With the rapid development of science and technology and people's increasing attention to environmental protection, the detection methods of carton paper are developing in the direction of functional and environmental protection. For example, functional papers such as anti-corrosion, anti-bacterial, oil-proof and high-temperature resistance. Since my country's national standards for this type of special paper are not yet complete, some are in the process of revision and formulation. Inspection and quarantine departments generally refer to relevant international standards, standards of exporting countries or standards of manufacturers for testing of this type of paper. In addition, some of the base paper used for food packaging cartons must also meet the relevant health standards of our country. This is now the focus of our inspection and quarantine work, because it is directly related to the health and safety of our people. The inspection standards involved in these papers mainly include: 1.GB11680-89 'Hygiene Standards of Raw Paper for Food Packaging' 2.GB18192-2000 'Paper-based Composite Materials for Liquid Food Aseptic Packaging' 3.GB18706-2002 'Liquid Food Preservation' 'Paper-based composite materials for packaging (roofing packages)' For some printed paper used for food packaging, it is also necessary to detect the content of related heavy metal elements, such as lead, chromium, cadmium, and mercury. The above is organized and released by Dongguan Jester Instrument Network. If you need to reprint, please indicate the source, thank you for your cooperation.
