Debugging and operation steps of automatic fabric air permeability tester

The automatic fabric air permeability tester is suitable for measuring the air permeability of various textiles, industrial fabrics, non-woven fabrics and other materials. Main parameters: 

1. Differential pressure range: 0~4000Pa; 

2. Measurable air permeability: 0.2—12826mm/s; 

3. Measurement error:≤±2%; 

4. Measurable fabric thickness:≤12mm; 

5. Suction volume adjustment: dynamic adjustment by data feedback; 

6. Sample area setting circle: 5cm2, 20cm2, 50cm2, 100cm2; 

7. Nozzle: 11 in total. 

Applicable standards: GB/T 5453-1997 Determination of air permeability of textile fabrics, GB/T 13764, ASTM D737, ISO 9237, ISO 5636 First, vacuum the low-pressure chamber (lower chamber), and then vacuum the entire system. When the specified vacuum degree is reached, close the lower test chamber, fill the high-pressure chamber (upper chamber) with a certain pressure of test gas, and ensure that the A constant pressure difference (adjustable) is formed on both sides of the sample, so that the gas will infiltrate from the high pressure side to the low pressure side under the action of the pressure difference gradient. Debugging steps: 

1. The instrument should be leveled before working. The specific operation is to rotate the adjustable machine foot to make the instrument level. 

2. Check whether the sample setting ring is tightened and whether its airtight ring is close to the two joint surfaces. 

3. Check whether the indenter can control the indenter to move up and down flexibly. 

4. Check whether the connection between the suction hose and the flow cylinder and the suction fan is tight. 

5. Check whether the door cover and door lock on the flow cylinder can be tightly closed. 

6. Check whether the printer is connected correctly. 

7. Correction.

8. Check whether the instrument is leaking: use a non-porous plate instead of the calibration plate to test, the air permeability screen shows a value of 0 (allowing the beating below 10Pa) to be no air leakage, otherwise there is air leakage in a certain part of the instrument, which should be checked and adjusted.


Operation steps: 

01. Prepare the sample as required and cut it to the specified size. 

02. Select the sample setting circle and install it on the instrument. 

03. Select the nozzle. 

04. Turn on the power of the instrument. 

05. Set parameters. 

06. Press the start button to start the instrument. 

07. The instrument automatically compresses the sample and starts the test. When the set pressure difference is reached, it automatically loosens the sample, and the instrument automatically converts the test result and stops. 

08. Carry out the test of the next sample until the number of valid tests reaches the requirement (the number of times the display is currently the number of tests), and then perform data processing according to GB/T 5453-97. 

09. The test results can be observed on the air permeability/differential pressure display, and can also be printed. 10. When the test is over, turn off the power, clean the instrument and accessories, remove the setting ring and put it in the spare parts drawer.
