Taber Abrasion Tester GB4085-2015 Floor Test Analysis

GB4085-2015 was implemented on 2016-08-01. It is about the test method of 'Semi-rigid PVC block floor'. This standard specifies the terms of semi-rigid PVC block floor (hereinafter referred to as floor). and definitions, classifications, classes and markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transport and storage. The Taber abrasion resistance test machine can be used to test the wear resistance of semi-rigid PVC block floors. (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer and can provide customers with various solutions to solve the required problems.

Main parameters:

01. Test piece: outer diameterφ108mm, inner diameter

02. Grinding wheel:φ2″(MAX.52mm) 1/2″(W);

03. The distance between the centers of the grinding wheel: 63.5mm; 04. The distance between the centers of the grinding wheel and the test disc: 37~38mm;

05. The rotation speed: 60/72 rpm;

06. Load: 250g, 750g, 1000g;

07. Counter: LCD liquid crystal display, 0~999999, automatic shutdown;

08. Distance between the test piece and the vacuum cleaner: 3mm.

Component composition:

1. Horizontal rotating test bench: the diameter is greater than 105mm, the upper surface is horizontal, and the test piece can be placed. The test bench can be rotated around the central axis at a speed of 60±2rpm.

2. Two cylindrical grinding wheels wrapped with leather pieces: the grinding wheels are made of metal or hard plastic, with a diameter of 42mm and a width of 12.7mm, and can rotate freely around a fixed axis. The leather sheet wrapped on the grinding wheel is about 13mm wide and 4mm~5mm thick. Place a steel ball with a diameter of 10mm on the leather, load (10±With a load of 0.1) N, the leather sheet should have a residual depression of 0.3mm to 0.5mm after 30s. The grinding wheel that wraps the leather sheet needs to be sanded at 500 rpm with 240 grit sandpaper before first use. The two grinding wheels can form a circular track on the surface of the test piece, with an area of about 3000 mm2. When the diameter of the grinding wheel wrapped with the leather sheet is less than 44.4 mm, the grinding wheel should be replaced.

3. Rotation counter: After reaching the set number of rotations, the rotating platform can automatically stop rotating.

4. Container: The upper end is open and can hold at least 200g of abrasive. There is a height-adjustable shakeout tube at the bottom of the container, and the bottom of the shakeout tube is located at a distance from the surface of the specimen (10±3)mm, and can be closed quickly.

5. Vacuum cleaner: It can absorb the abrasive and the ground particles.
