Taber wear tester use and maintenance plan

The Taber wear tester mainly uses rotary grinding to test the wear resistance of leather and plastic materials by rotating different types of friction wheels on the sample. It is widely used in performance testing of metal, coating, sheet surface, coating material, textile, leather, rubber and other fields. This article focuses on some precautions for the use, operation and maintenance of this widely used instrument: 1. Principle test principle: The test sample is placed on a rotating platform, and the test sample is placed on a rotating platform through two rolling friction wheels above it. Under a certain load, it performs a rotating frictional movement with the sample to wear the sample. One friction wheel faces outward, and the other friction wheel faces inward to rub the sample, forming a circular wear mark. After the specified number of rubbings, the degree of wear of the sample is evaluated by appearance. 2. Operation instructions Test preparation: 1. Fix the test sample on the test turntable, select the required test weight and install it, and make sure that the test wheel does not touch the sample fixture during the test. 2. Turn the governor switch to the lowest level. 3. After setting the number of tests according to the test requirements, the whole machine is in the test state. Operation specifications: 1. Connect the appropriate power 220V or 110V according to the label. 2. Adjust the speed governor switch to the lowest level to avoid excessive speed and cause abnormalities in the machine. 3. Turn on the power, test the machine first, and turn off the power if there is no abnormality. 4. Press the reset button to reset the counter to zero. Set the number of tests required according to the requirements, and the counter can be set up to 99999999 times. 5.Press the RST key on the counter to clear the counter, and press the> key for five seconds to enter the test number setting. The eight digits on the counter from the bottom right to the top left represent the ones digit to the ten million digits. If you set 280,360 times, press Press the> key to adjust the jumping value to the third digit from the upper left, press the ∧ key to set the value to 2, and then press the> key to adjust the jumping value to the fourth digit from the upper left, press the ∧ key to set the value to 8, and then press the> key Adjust the beating value to the third number from the bottom right and press the ∧ key to set the value to 3, then press the> key to adjust the beating value to the second number from the bottom right and press the ∧ key to set the value to 6, and all other positions Set it to zero, and set the required number of tests according to the test requirements: 6. Press the start button, the whole machine will enter the test state. 7. Adjust the governor to adjust the speed to the required test speed. 8. Turn on the power switch of the vacuum cleaner to make it work. 9. After the number of times set by the counter is tested, the machine will automatically stop and be in the standby state. 10. Turn off the power, remove the sample, and clean the machine. 3. Maintenance items 1. The instrument must be placed on a stable ground before use, 2. It is not allowed to move the machine during use; 3. Choose the corresponding power supply voltage, do not over-high, to avoid burning out the device; 4. When there is an abnormality, please contact our company for timely processing; 5. There must be a good ventilation environment when the machine is working. 6. For each component of the button mechanism, due to the large operating load, please add lubricating oil in time for the mechanical parts; 7. After each test, clean the machine and keep the machine clean; For more information, please visit the official website of Standard Group: http:/ /www.standard-groups.com
